"Fried chicken fanatics have been waiting since mid-April for the Korean wing juggernaut Bonchon to open, and those double-fried dreams were answered this week at 1414 West Lake Street. Housed in the former Davanni’s location across Lake Street from Calhoun Square, this is Minnesota’s first Bonchon outpost; for now it’s open only for dinner but will eventually extend hours to lunch and late night. The chain started in South Korea and, while it serves other Korean dishes, it has gained a rabid following for its double-fried chicken that’s coated in a sticky soy glaze." - Joy Summers
