"Silk ribbons, garlands, string lights, and lots of red poinsettias have turned Nashville’s swanky underground margarita bar Pushing Daisies into Pushing Poinsettias. It’s a perfect transition that ties together Mexico’s most famous drink (margaritas) to its most celebrated holiday plant (poinsettias). Cocktails brim with tequila and festive cheer, from the Son of a Nutcracker with blanco tequila, “fluffy pineapple,” cinnamon, and pomegranate, to the Jingle Juice, a large-format cocktail that mingles classic margarita with Mexican street punch. There are also classic snacks like queso, guacamole, and crispy beef tacos to accompany the long list of cocktails. The pop-up runs through December 31; hours vary.
