"Commodore, a beloved dive bar in D.C. since 2016, has recently undergone new management under Rob Van de Graaff and Steve Kim. They have introduced an extensive brunch menu and a refreshed dinner menu, featuring a blend of Southern comfort food and Asian elements. The bar now offers nine rotating beers and an espresso martini on draft, alongside frozen cocktails. Notable brunch items include French toast with ube whipped cream and Carl’s Sausage Fest platter. The dinner menu introduces new handhelds and expanded vegetarian options, including gluten-free buns and Impossible patties. The venue maintains its popular items like wings, fried chicken meal deal, and smash burgers. Weekly events include industry Mondays, trivia Tuesdays, and drag bingo on the first Wednesday of each month." - Tierney Plumb
