"Opening soon at the intersection of Twain Avenue and Swenson Street, Lefty-J’s Island Favorites will serve Hawaiian and Filipino food “made with lots of aloha.” It promises “favorite flavors of home served at comfortable prices,” is previewing familiar plate combinations on social media, and lists dishes such as chicken afritada, pork adobo, menudo, Hawaiian mac salad, and the Philippine staple pinakbet; menu selections can also be picked up to-go.
