"Set in the historic Art Deco tower at 70 Pine St. (at Pearl Street), the project from James Kent—his first solo venture after nearly a decade at the Michelin-starred NoMad—and Del Posto manager Jeff Katz will span five floors: the ground level plus the 62nd, 63rd, 64th and 66th floors. I learned the upper-level spaces are expected to offer wild, sweeping views, outdoor space, and both restaurant and bar/lounge concepts, including a more formal operation; a sample menu submitted to the community board (still likely to change) lists dishes such as a duck with long pepper and cocoa nibs and large-format, shareable dishes like oxtail with black truffle and celery root.
