"An influential alternative-comedy fixture in Deep Ellum for about 11 years, founded in 2009 on Commerce Street, relocated to Main Street in 2015, and moved to the Elm Street location in 2019 following a landlord dispute. Under founder Amanda Austin it helped put alternative comedy on the Dallas map and served as a home stage for many local performers. The venue struggled with reduced capacity, curfews, and intermittent events during the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately closed on July 2, 2020." - Brittanie Shey
