"For a bacon-forward weekend I went to Slater’s 50/50 for their Wake N’Bacon brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with bottomless mimosas for $20. Highlights include a pork belly Benedict with crispy seared pork belly and poached eggs with chipotle Hollandaise on buttermilk biscuits served with tater tot country potatoes; a breakfast flatbread topped with mozzarella, egg whites, arugula, and cherry tomatoes; fried chicken and bacon pancakes — two bacon-studded pancakes topped with fried chicken, gravy, and a sunny-side-up egg; and a 50/50 omelet stuffed with the classic or spicy 50/50 blend, avocado, cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo, served with tater tot country potatoes." - Susan Stapleton
