Kamakura, One of Japan’s Most Popular Warabimochi Shops, Is Open in LA | Eater LA

"I'm excited that Warabimochi Kamakura will open its first U.S. location at The Shops at Santa Anita in Arcadia on October 31, 2024. Unlike the glutinous rice–flour mochi Angelenos know from longtime shops, warabimochi is made from bracken starch and coated in sweet toasted soybean flour, and the brand notes it was historically consumed by Japan’s elite, including Emperor Daigo.
