"The Jaguar Room, located next to Tacolina, goes into the shuttered De Buena Planta space as an attached bar covered in animal print. Upon entering Tacolina, walk midway through the patio and veer left to dip into Jaguar Bar. The lounge received a full makeover with midcentury modern lighting, animal prints, plenty of deep red banquettes, gold accents, and small tables. Rush plans on bringing a piano to the corner for live performances. Former Otium bar manager Sam Eppel created the cocktail menu, which focuses on Mexican-produced spirits. Drinks include a guava Daiquiri; a Hibiscus Breeze with mezcal, rhum agricole, hibiscus, watermelon, lime, and sea salt; and the Jaguar Paw with Condesa Gin, celery, fragrant pandan, and lime. For the tobacco Old Fashioned, Eppel uses Abasolo whiskey plus elote and Turkish tobacco bitters for a smoky, earthy finish.
