Water Tower, this tiny French bakery and sandwich shop fits four or so people inside, but lines often stretch down the street for fresh-baked croissants and apple tarts. I usually go for the pain au chocolat, which has enticing layers of lamination and a rich chocolate interior; to replicate what I consider the perfect experience I order a shot of espresso and plant myself at a table with a book for a bit." - Eater Staff
