Freed’s Bakery plans to debut a dessert shop in Summerlin | Eater Vegas

"With a legacy of more than 60 years making decadent desserts, this 1,400-square-foot Summerlin dessert shop — replacing a Total Nutrition space at The Shoppes at Canyon Pointe near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Drive, a few doors down from Bowlology — will be the brand’s third dessert-focused outpost after a Centennial expansion last October and a smaller outlet at T-Mobile Arena. Slated for an October grand opening, it will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays) and will offer a full collection of pastries, cookies, and baked goods alongside evergreen favorites such as the strawberry shortcake; custom cakes can be ordered on-site and are produced at the company’s 8,500-square-foot flagship on Eastern Avenue." - Bradley Martin
