Huckleberry Roasters Debuts its Downtown Location - Eater Denver

"A beloved Denver coffee roaster has expanded outside its Northside headquarters and RiNo spinoff with a new cafe in the Dairy Block. Five-year-old Huckleberry Roasters opened its third location Wednesday at 1800 Wazee Street, and it’s one of the first new tenants on this activated downtown block that will soon see a host of openings from Milk Market to Run for the Roses and a permanent Denver Flea market. Existing businesses in the row of historic dairy buildings include The Maven Hotel and Kachina Southwestern Grill farther down Wazee Street. This new Huckleberry is everything a caffeine drinker could want in a modern coffee shop — pour overs, concrete floors, white countertops, and enough room for people-watching. Toasts too are here, with options for avocado on top or seasonal hummus and also a spicy-sweet aleppo pepper butter. Waffles come with Noosa yogurt, fruit, and maple, or jam and lemon-thyme ricotta. The shop’s signature music is to be expected, from an eclectic radio playlist to retail coffee beans named after songs by Bowie and Sufjan. And a new drink menu features Huckleberry coffee milkshakes with Frozen Matter ice cream. Huckleberry at Dairy Block opens from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
