"I’m reporting on Honeygrow’s largest local outpost, a new 2,500-square-foot, 56-seat Rockville location that expands the Philly-based fast-casual chain (which also has Chinatown and Pentagon City spots) as part of a plan to open eight more D.C.-metro stir-fry eateries by the end of next year. The interior features work by Rockville-based artist Ian Bell, and the menu adds winter options such as the roasted garlic tahini—whole wheat noodles with roast chicken, chickpeas, kale, red onions, roasted garlic tahini sauce and a coriander crunch topping—and a winter kale salad with pomegranate vinaigrette, organic baby spinach, kale, roasted Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, pears, blue cheese and pecans. The Rockville restaurant is certified open, is scheduled to operate daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and is located at 12035 Rockville Pike; more information is available on its website." - Tierney Plumb
