North Campus Spot Spider House Cafe Will Closing Live Music Space - Eater Austin
"There’s a major change in store for north campus spot Spider House Cafe: in light of alleged sexual assault allegations against Spider House co-owner John Dorgan and his libel and slander lawsuit against business partner Conrad Bejarano and former employee Jeremy Rogers, the cafe is nixing its live music programming and space after South by Southwest this March. The space will be turned into an arcade bar instead. Bejarano, who is leading the transformation, told the Chronicle it’s happening because people “have voiced their opinion.”" - Nadia Chaudhury
