Berkeley’s Five Makes Way for New Mediterranean Restaurant This Summer - Eater SF
"Zino is a new Mediterranean restaurant opening at the Hotel Shattuck Plaza, taking over the space previously occupied by the restaurant Five. Executive chef Brandon Hicks, who has experience at Michelin-starred Picholine and other notable New York establishments, will lead the kitchen. The menu will include dishes from 22 Mediterranean countries, featuring seafood, meat, poultry, mezze, and tagines. The bar will offer cocktails, beer, and wine. The restaurant is set to open in late summer after a remodel by designer Anthony Laurino." - Caleb Pershan
