"Chef Tim Love’s new cocktail bar and croquet club in Fort Worth’s River District along the Trinity Trail aims for the vibes of a British-influenced country club (one Pimm’s Cup, please) without a membership requirement. Named after Love’s father, Stewart Love, croquet is part of the family story — Love played the game on his father’s farm in Tennessee while growing up. The small, intimate indoor space will hold only 28 seats and is just over 1,000 square feet, while the outdoor area is roughly 15,000 square feet with room for lawn play. The food and drink program will focus on cocktails and small plates, including Gulf shrimp cocktail, lobster rolls, steak frites, a Texas blue crab cake, a croque monsieur, and a croquet club sandwich. Expected opening date: March 2025." - Courtney E. Smith
