"In Glendale I spent time at this smallish spot focused on Iraqi specialties and found it rewarding across all three daily meals. The hearty pacha—served with a punchy cup of lemon juice and a pinch of minced garlic to cut the richness—hummed with subtle, pleasant gaminess and signaled many good meals to come; a well-meaning regular at the next table even recommended it. The kibbeh haleb and so-called "potato chops" (fried patties stuffed with ground beef) were crispy and flavorful, and breakfasts include scrambled omelettes heavy with more ground beef alongside lots of dark Armenian coffee. Service is inconsistent—you may be directed to a table with someone taking your order or end up standing in line at the counter with no traceable logic—but if you go with the flow of the room (and the menu) you’ll likely enjoy the convivial, neighborhood feel; it’s just that kind of place." - Farley Elliott
