"An Antipodean coffee roaster and all-day restaurant chain has opened its fifth London site inside the former BBC Radio 1 recording studios on Great Portland Street in Fitzrovia. The spacious, attractive venue seats around 100–120 covers and embraces the building’s musical heritage with a dedicated “record room” and a downstairs private dining room where DJ Zane Lowe recorded sessions; one booth is plaque-marked as the spot where the late John Peel recorded his final show. Founded by Laura Harper-Hinton, Chris Ammermann and Miles Kirby, the group has expanded to five London locations in eight years and is known for considered, inventive yet accessible plates alongside a trend-aware drinks program (including cold-brewed teas, kombucha and shrubs). While sticking to a tried-and-tested all-day model, the new Fitzrovia branch’s main innovation is a new 'To Go' takeaway wing aimed at broadening its offer in the neighbourhood." - Adam Coghlan
