Nathálie Remains Devoted to Natural Wines but Continues to Evolve | Eater Boston

"A cozy spot in the Fenway neighborhood filled with natural wines and European-style bar snacks, Nathálie is led by Haley Fortier—an alum of the Barbara Lynch empire and owner of downtown's Haley Henry—and just celebrated its first anniversary amid national accolades and local acclaim, including being named Eater Boston’s 2018 bar of the year. Under executive chef Peter McKenzie, who joined at the end of 2018, the food has evolved to include montaditos (“little bites of Spanish heaven”), squid ceviche in its own ink, pickled patatas bravas, fried Ipswich clams, and a cheese plate. Fortier, managing partner Kristie Weiss, and the staff curate a constantly rotating natural-wine list focused on mostly small-production, women-owned operations: all single-glass pours are by female winemakers and roughly 70–75% of the bottle list is as well.
