Small Plate Champ Spero to Shutter This Saturday - Eater Carolinas

"Spero opened at 616 Meeting St. on March 3, 2015 with a menu of beef tallow biscuits, pork fat crostini, and pan roasted porgy. The restaurant became known for killer sandwiches, bread tastings, crisp fried chicken, creative small plates, and a sense of humor. The owners decided to close it to focus on their families and personal lives." - Erin Perkins
