"Carmela Wallace, mother of late rapper Jarad Higgins, known to the public as Juice Wrld, on Friday broke ground on a new brewpub at 18225 Dixie Highway in near suburban Homewood, according to the Tribune. Wallace tells reporters that Homewood Brewing Co. will be a tribute to her son, who died shortly after his 21st birthday in December 2019. She’s aiming to open the 18,000-square-foot space in late 2024 in the former home of Bogart’s Charhouse." - Naomi Waxman
