"The Armitage Avenue dining strip in Logan Square has lost a casual Italian option. Ugo’s Kitchen & Bar, an affordable restaurant owned by a chef with experience at Alinea and Sixteen, closed after service on Sunday at 2833 W. Armitage Avenue, Logan Squarist reports and owner Stephen Hasson confirms. Hasson also says that he sold the restaurant but hasn’t revealed to whom. The shutter was for “personal and financial reasons,” Logan Squarist reported, and Hasson could open another restaurant in the future.
