"The famed, decades-old East Village spot that shut down last fall due to failed rent negotiations is coming back to life; I saw reports that Coyote Ugly signage has been hung indoors at 233 East 14th Street, between Second and Third Avenues, and that the bar—made internationally famous by a 2001 movie—applied for a liquor license last September.
