"Inside the Whole Foods at 2201 Eye Street NW near George Washington University, a Foodhini stall — part of a D.C.-based delivery service that works with immigrant and refugee chefs — has opened (officially announced today but operating for at least a week). Majed Abdulraheem, a refugee who fled Syria with his wife and two daughters, is the first chef in a three-month rotation; he’s selling chicken shawarma wraps with a side of hummus and jarjeer (arugula) salad for $10. The stall is open Monday through Friday for lunch, and Foodhini and Abdulraheem were previously written about in The Washington Post Magazine in 2017." - Gabe Hiatt
