Downtown Pizzeria Frank & Angie’s Is Closing - Eater Austin

"Essential Austin pizzeria Frank & Angie’s is closing, as reported by KXAN. Owner Mike Hutchinson said the closing date will be announced sometime soon in the following several weeks. The shutter won’t happen for several months, as reported by Chronicle. Frank & Angie’s, which opened in 1995, focused on Sicilian-American dishes. This meant pizza, along with bruschetta, plenty of pastas, salads, sandwiches, and desserts, including cannoli and tiramisu, plus wine and beer. The name was inspired by Frank Sinatra and Hutchinson’s mother, Angie." - Nadia Chaudhury
