"I visited the whimsical new Pioneer Square shop at 116 S. Washington St., where Lady Yum brings its brand of “macarons and mischief” and serves plenty of confections and champagne. Owner Megan Wagstaff posted the news eight months ago, and with this bigger space—after four years primarily focused on hit meringue-based confections—she's planning to branch out into new territory. The multi-hued interiors match Wagstaff's colorful creations, and there is plenty of seating on the first and second floors for sampling this month's macaron flavors: bananas foster and Love Potion (chocolate passion fruit). This is Lady Yum's fourth location after the Kirkland original, a kiosk at Sea-Tac, and its first Seattle-proper location on the Amazon campus." - Erin Perkins
