"Preparing to relocate, The Mulefoot Gastropub will host its final Imlay City service on Saturday, April 28 as the owners plan to move their hit destination restaurant closer to metro Detroit within the next year. Known as a higher-end, special-occasion spot with prices that averaged around $50 per person, The Mulefoot eliminated tipping last summer in favor of a service charge to provide employees consistent pay, healthcare, and a 401(k); the owners report the change has worked well even in slow months." - Brenna Houck
