Occupying several quaint homes from the 19th century, this relaxed hostel is 2 miles from both the 4-block City Market and the South Carolina Aquarium, and 11 miles from the Fort Sumter museum. Sleeping up to 8 people, the low-key coed or single-sex dorms offer bunk beds, hardwood floors, free Wi-Fi and shared bathrooms. Casual private rooms are also available; some add futons. Bed linens are provided; towels are extra. There are no TVs in the rooms. Parking and breakfast are complimentary. Other amenities include communal kitchens, and porches with seating.
