They are closing due to construction disruptions in the neighborhood and a restrictive lease that made it impossible to sustain the business. The cafe, which includes a bike shop, will remain open through October before hosting a goodbye party on November 1. The increasing property value and lease terms have raised their shared space cost by $1,000 per month.
