"Houston’s first restaurant devoted to Portuguese-style peri peri chicken has officially opened, serving flame-grilled birds seasoned in the traditional mix of garlic, lemon, vinegar and bird’s eye chili. The menu lets diners choose from seven spice levels — from “plain-ish” up to “inferno” — with fries and rice offered as cooling sides. The counter-style layout gives customers an excellent view of the open-fire grill, according to the spot’s first Yelp review, and the opening was announced via Instagram. Current hours are 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday–Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday." - Amy McCarthy
