"A beloved XL pizza joint in Deep Ellum has entered a partnership under a new corporate entity with Milkshake Concepts, whose CEO Imran Sheikh (behind Citizen, Stirr, and Vidorra) says Milkshake will handle operations and business development while original owners Mike Turley and Andrew Phillips remain closely involved in creative and culinary decisions. Sheikh, who has followed the brand since moving to Texas from London in 2013, plans to improve operations and product quality, renovate the current space for an enhanced experience, introduce delivery, and potentially open additional locations; lease terms are still being negotiated and renovations won’t begin for a few months.
