"Great Gold, the Mission District Italian spot that shuttered in August after a year in the game, has risen again at the Pioneer Commerce Center, the Sierra Sun reports. Owner David Steele says that “We had a landlord in San Francisco who was absolutely unwilling to give us any flexibility,” so he decided “We’re going to move up to Tahoe.” He hopes to start serving up house made pasta and Roman-style pizza as soon as November 6." - Eve Batey
