BYOB Restaurant Dish Dive Closes This Weekend In Kirkwood, Atlanta - Eater Atlanta

"Dish Dive, one of Kirkwood’s tiniest restaurants, closes after dinner service on Valentine’s Day, according to posts on social media. The beloved BYOB restaurant is owned and operated by restaurateur Jeff Myers (Top Flr, the Sound Table). Opened in 2014 across from the East Lake Marta station, the restaurant shares a small house along College Avenue with Molasses Barber and Beauty next door. Dish Dive quickly became an under-the-radar favorite among Atlanta’s restaurant industry workers, chefs, and food-obsessed when it opened due to its relaxed atmosphere and unpretentious dishes. Myers once described Dish Dive as “for people who have tasted the ‘good life,’ but can’t afford it seven days of the week.” With seating for just under 25 people inside and few staff members, Myers was often on the floor taking orders and serving tables prior to the pandemic.
