"The breezy sister property Hotel Escondido Oaxaca blends brutalist lines with pre-Hispanic details in a restored colonial heritage house a few blocks off the tourist path, offering open, airy spaces filled with oversized tropical plants and several terraces for quiet nooks. The kitchen uses organic local ingredients and handmade tortillas while sourcing artisan mezcal from regional producers, and I ended the day beneath the pergola-covered bar with guacamole, tortilla chips, and a lime-spiked Mezcalita.
