The Friend

Cocktail bar · Los Feliz

"The Friend is the latest drinking spot to open up on this stretch of Hyperion, which is finally starting to catch up with Sunset Junction in terms of bars and restaurants. Graffiti artist and nightlife impresario Andre Saraiva (formerly the owner of Le Baron in Tokyo, Paris and NYC) commissioned friends and artists to graffiti the walls. Décor-wise, The Friend is very pink—bubblegum pink specifically—but it’s intended to be playful and it works, and the cocktails are accessibly priced, served up by bartenders in breton shirts. The bar stays open until 2am nightly."
