@infatuation

"San Diego is just 20 miles from the Mexican border, so naturally, it takes chilaquiles very seriously. Cocina 35 says they have the “best chilaquiles in town,” and they actually deliver. The La Bomba is a winner all the way from the bottom up: crunchy, perfectly salted tortilla chips doused in a habanero-cilantro salsa, a sprinkle of red onions for a nice zing, and a scoop of tender cochinita pibil with avocado. There are a couple locations—the Otay Mesa, Barrio Logan, and Downtown ones great for a quick breakfast—but the Liberty Station spot is best for party group brunches, club bangers, and sparkler-topped churros for birthdays." - sabrina medora
