"Focus on the inventive small plates at this Asian spot that doubles as a concert venue most summer nights. The blue crab rangoons are the freshest we’ve ever tasted, the peppery baby back riblets are sticky and spicy, and the tuna tartare larb stands out thanks to the addition of fresh papaya salad mixed in. For entrees, the black cod bento box (with perfectly fried tempura veg, and a tofu and tomato salad) is the best choice on the menu, and the smashburger with black garlic truffle cheese, pickles, and special sauce is reliably tasty. After dinner, splurge on a bottle of champagne from the Moet vending machine and settle in for some karaoke or a show—prior headliners include Lola Kirke, Mickey Avalon, and more.
