"Designed like a mid-century salon, GG Coffee & Matcha is a blink-and-miss-it coffee shop hidden among the many streetwear shops around Fairfax and Melrose. The drink options are few (and there's no food), but on the menu is an excellent ceremonial-grade matcha: deep, dank green with zero bitterness. The GG matcha latte with vanilla syrup and fermented koji rice milk is tasty, too, and we like the raspberry matcha tonic that's refreshing without sacrificing any matcha-y taste." - cathy park
