"It's unsurprising to discover that Corner, a cafe in New Cross, is co-owned by an architect and interior designer. It's a stylish place, with exposed wooden floorboards, an old-school shop counter, and possibly the chicest toilets in South East London. It’s a great spot for working on a laptop in the window, or meeting friends for a seriously good coffee from local Deptford roaster, Elsewhere Coffee, and excellent lemon drizzle and carrot cake. Check out the downstairs exhibition space too, which showcases up-and-coming local artists, and stay tuned to their Instagram for details about their LGBTQ+ “Corner After Hours” cocktail nights.
