"The first thing the staff at A’Bouzy in River Oaks sets on your table is a paper bag full of warm popcorn—a not-subtle-at-all salty snack that suggests you’ll need a drink immediately. And that you should quickly order champagne. Given the length of A’Bouzy’s wine list, order a few bottles and add on moules frites or beef bourguignon. And while A’Bouzy is more of wine bar masquerading as an excuse to throw duck fat on a brunch omelet, when you’re tossing back one of the dozen types of caviar on the patio and trying to toss popcorn into your friend's mouth (you’ve had a lot of wine), labels don’t matter.
