Flower and Dessert Review - Flushing - New York - The Infatuation

"If you ignore the giant chalk mural of cherubs at Flower and Dessert, this Flushing cafe looks like a cross between a nice bookstore and a modern bistro, filled with people who probably still live with their parents. While you can get a few savory dishes, most of the massive menu is made up of excellent Asian desserts—and that’s what we’d recommend coming here for. They have shaved ice in popular flavors like matcha, taro, and mango, but also less common flavors, like a chocolate shaved ice with peanuts and cheese foam. Other sweets include puddings, mille crêpe cakes, and sundaes. Come during the day when you want to get work done and need continuous access to caffeine and sugary things to keep you going." - Kenny Yang
