"The Albert is Inman Park’s best neighborhood bar with a decent beer selection and a few TVs that are always playing a sporting event. It feels a bit like an old-timey pub with gothic silver lion heads embedded in the exposed brick wall and actual flames dancing inside bronze wall lanterns. The menu has typical bar bites like chicken wings, perfectly seared burgers, and specialty hot dogs that work well for game days or random Tuesday night dinners. The side room (for overflow) weirdly departs from the pub theme and enters bistro territory. Think faux marble tabletops and navy-and-white checkered chairs. That room is fine in a pinch, but if you can, stick to The Albert’s best side, which is undisputedly the bar. Food Rundown ATL Dog This hot dog, piled high with bean-heavy chili, tangy slaw, and splashes of mustard, is a mess to eat, but it’s worth it. It’s the best hot dog on the menu. photo credit: Juli Horsford New York Dog The housemade sauerkraut and brown mustard combine to give this dog a slightly spicy kick. It’s decent and has a buttery bun that we’d gladly eat plain, but it remains in second place to the ATL Dog. photo credit: Juli Horsford Fried Chicken Sandwich You get a thick piece of chicken encased in a nice crunchy fried breading. Make sure to get this tossed in hot sauce for an extra $1 because it’s a little bland without it. Classic Burger Yep, it’s a very classic burger with all the usual suspects: your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. You won’t write about this in your diary later, but it’s a reliable choice when a burger craving hits." - Juli Horsford
