"Smack in the middle of a huge Woodinville residential complex is Sidekick, a coffee shop that makes us highly consider living at the Woodin Creek Apartments. Even though the espresso drinks aren’t groundbreaking and it can get a tad busy, it’s a great place to kick back and get work done on the Eastside—especially if you’re in the mood for an excellent chocolate chip cookie. That particular dessert is soft and supple, with a higher-than-usual amount of solidified chocolate chips that become one with the crumb, as well as barely-there toasted edges that melt instead of snap. It’s buttery-rich but not over the top, and you could easily slam it as an after-lunch snack without immediately needing a nap.
