"The words “An Evocative Menagerie Lounge” pop across your screen when you open Le Bar Penelope’s website. Frankly, we’re not quite sure what that means. What we do know is that it’s right next door to, and comes from the same people as Avra, a Greek restaurant on the Upper East Side. We also know that they’ve got a big champagne list, a menu full of raw seafood and caviar (amongst other things), and a piano lounge that’ll have music and DJs spinning late into the night underneath some very fancy looking velvet drapery.
