"Are You Hungry used to be a pop-up at Unseen Creatures before it was a wandering food truck. Now, it’s a small restaurant in Tamiami where you won’t be judged for inevitably dripping their house sauces all over your shirt. One is a tangy orange sauce, the other a green garlic cilantro. At least one makes an appearance on just about every wonderful handheld dish on the menu, from mojo marinated chicken burritos to loaded beer cheese fries. The food here isn’t just saucy, it’s big, too. You’ll struggle to pick up their spicy buffalo chicken philly with just one hand. And the patty on their juicy wagyu burger is the size of a smoke detector. The dining room reminds us of a kid’s room. Every table has an Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo console on it. Sports jerseys line the walls, and Ninja Turtle figurines guard the chicken wings cooking in the fryer. Those wings are wonderful— covered in a sauce made with teriyaki, garlic, and buffalo.
