"This former horse butchery was repurposed a decade ago into what’s now one of the best places for a traditional Parisian jambon-beurre. A fresh baguette is slathered generously with butter and heaped with thick slices of barely pink Prince of Paris ham—a significant glow-up from the versions at bog standard boulangeries, and well worth the €5.70 price tag. You'll pay a few extra euros to upgrade to cooked fillings, though the runny-in-the-middle house tortilla española with guindillas is a must, especially for vegetarians. Add a portion of a seasonal salad, like tomato-nectarine with herbaceous lemon verbena, and enjoy your choices at the narrow counter, or take them to the small square across the way." - Emily Monaco
