"When you want to drink ice water out of a goblet, tear into pita while firmly planted in a high-backed velvet chair, and order a bottle of wine for the table, come to Presidio Kebab. The Mediterranean spot in Presidio Heights is the ideal choice for a laidback lunch when your family comes to town and needs sustenance before a stroll through the Wood Line, or maybe a non-stuffy dinner with a vegetarian client. Their menu of hot and cold meze is pretty standard, along with hearty kebab plates, beyti with lamb, and neatly sliced triangles of pita. The greek fries, dressed up with hunks of feta and parsley, are also an essential order. The mound of thick greek yogurt in the middle gives a nice tangy balance to the rich lamb two-biters.
