"It’s easy to get sidetracked by the entire aisle of hot sauces (fellow hot sauce lovers will understand) while you’re walking through this Upper Westside Mexican grocery store. But the smells and sizzling sounds of meat help realign our focus, which is getting to the back room. The small space, with just an order counter and a lone folding table, heavily hints that to-go orders are encouraged. They’ve got tortas and burritos, but you should get tacos, which are the best thing on the menu. Choose from eight protein options (go with flavorful barbacoa and chorizo) placed inside double corn tortillas and topped with onions and cilantro.
