Pearl’s Place - Review - Bronzeville - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Pearl’s Place in Bronzeville focuses on Southern food, serving breakfast all day in a space that looks like a mid-range hotel’s nondescript dining room. There’s a regular menu with things like omelets and pancakes, but the best way to eat here is by going full-on breakfast buffet, which is available every day. And that’s where you’ll also find pancakes, grits, breakfast meats, an omelet bar, and chicken wings - basically anything you can think of, and some stuff you might not, like salmon croquettes. It’s affordable (the buffet is $12.99), and enjoying as much of it as possible is a justifiable reason for being late to work." - Adrian Kane
