"There’s nothing common about the breads and pastries at this Lebanese bakery opposite Victoria station. At the counter, there's an array of pre-made ka’ak—a savoury Lebanese bread—filled with things like labneh and roasted aubergine. But the best stuff is from the made-to-order menu. The musakhan manouche is a tangy, sumac-heavy shredded chicken and red onion flatbread that’s a must-order. As is the lamb shawarma ka’ak, which is filled with tender slow-roasted lamb, pickles, and a creamy, smoky tahini sauce. It's a warm cafe with minimal low bench seating, and when the weather’s nice, the tables outside are perfect for a za’atar-dusted catch-up with friends." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing
